Tsunami warnings canceled in US coasts after 7.9 quake in Alaska

A magnitude 7.9 earthquake in the Gulf of Alaska triggered a series of tsunami alerts early Tuesday from southern Alaska down the western coast of North America, prompting warnings in some low-lying communities for people to seek higher ground. There were no immediate reports of injuries or property damage.

More than 200 reported killed in Mexico earthquake

According to reports 216 bodies been recovered so far from 7.1-magnitude earthquake which struck Mexico on Tuesday, 21 confirmed to be children under age of 10 years. Local media reports said soldiers had administered oxygen to one trapped child through a tube.
