Privatization Of Knuckles Range
A press conference was held by the young zoologists association Sri Lanka to voice objection over the Privatization of several lands in the knuckles range in Sri Lanka.
The Knuckles rain forest is a bio diversity hot spot in the country and is a sanctuary for several local species.A leading environmentalists at the press conference stated that 408 lands within the Knuckles range have been identified to be privatized. The press conference also highlighted the sea horse trade in Sri Lanka and its ramifications.
