We Are Ready To Implement The Best Program For The Bio Diversity Year

Minister for Environment and Natural resources for Sri Lanka Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka stated that All countries should come forward to implement a long term process to protect the environment until 2020.He also said that Sri Lanka is ready to implement the best program for the Bio Diversity year. He further said that this year is a decisive year. For the pat years Sri Lanka have been experiments on new crops which could resists on climate change, and it has been successful so far. The minister also requested all candidates to minimize the usage of polythene in prior to the Presidential election 2010.
