EDEX-National higher education and careers expo, took the initiative to promote Think Green as a core value with the vision to Educate, Engage and Activate Sri Lankan youth on sustainable
living.

Based on the foundatrion laid on the 6th Expo in 2009, EDEX 2010 has taken a giant leap forward to making the exhibition as green as possible by recycling all the paper, glass, plastic and
other solid waste collected from the exhibition.
This is done by Neptune Papers, Viridis Pvt Ltd and Pirimal Glass who are involved in recycling of paper, plastic and glass respectively and are participating in the Green Zone.
EB Creasy, Dimo and Magnet Cells are taking part in the Green Zone as well as promoting sustainable solar powered lighting and water pumps.
Brandix who have the worlds 1st apparal factory complex to win the LEED Platinum award presented by US  Green Building Council for environmentally frindly buildings is also represented.
EDEX Think Geen strengthened by the participation of both government and non government agencies like Sustainable Energy Authority, Centrtal Environment Agency, Ceylon Chamber of Commerece
Environmental Foundation and Young Biologists Association, is endorsed by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
EDEX 2010 with the vision of empowering Sri Lankan youth to be globally competitive, unveils boundless choices, optoions and opportunities available in the Green sector to Sri Lankan youth in the Green
Zone.
