The ‘Green Army of Spectrum Institute of Science and Technology

Organized a walk on 14th of February,



with  large number of people in the west side of Colombo Sri Lanka.

A house to house campaign was also carried out to explain the local community about 

The potential threats of climate change and distribute leaflets on how to go green. 

A recycle project was also launched during the walk,

Explaining about the event the participants stated that

Going green is a major priority to reduce the effects of climate change.

Participating at the event the Chief Editor of earthlanka “Sudarsha De Silva” said that more awareness on public is needed to create Sri Lanka a greener country. 

The walk was participated by Rotaract clubs, Rotary clubs and many school interact clubs in Colombo.

Green Army of Spectrum Institute of Science and Technology

have been functioning over the past few months to take the message of

the potential threats of climate change to people of all walks of life.
