Massive Ice Brake In Greenland
A 250 square kilometer island of ice has broken off
from a glacier in Greenland.
Some are saying that this is an effect of global warming,
Media reports say that the ice island that broke off from Greenland’s Petermann glacier is more than four times the size of New York City’s Manhattan Island.
Scientists are monitoring the ice island’s path as it slides closer to the ocean.
According to reports, this break off is the biggest incident since 1962
