Protest Against Salughter Stopped.
A protest by the monks was stopped by the police in the area of Chilaw today. The protest was organized against the slaughtering of goats and fouls for a ritual of Munneswaram Kali Amman Hindu Temple. Around 300 goats and large number of fouls will be slaughtered today.
