Tree Planting Program
5000 plants will be planted by the Central Environment Authority to commemerate the World Tree Planting Month from October 15th – November 15th 2010, This program will commence in several districts in Sri Lanka. As an initiative taken by the Central Environment Authority the this program will be conducted by the communities regionally.
The program will be carried out with the instructions of the Minister of Environment Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and the chairman of the C.E.A Charitha Herath.
