A symposium on Environment Impacts
of Food Security Interventions was organized
by the European Union (EU) recently.
This symposium was organized with the Ministry of Agriculture and with the participation of many Government and Private Stakeholders.
The symposium reflected on food security initiatives taken in the Eastern and Northern Province. Speaking at the event Mr.Shantha Amitiyagoda from Ministry of Agriculture explained that there is a growing concern for policy makers and researchers to preserve Bio Diversity.
