Batticaloa District More Affected By Rain

More than 5, 00,000 people belonging
7,927 families have been affected due to heavy rain
in the Batticaloa District.
While 31,112 people still resides in 103 camps in the District. Rain has been continued in the district for the past 5 days and most of the roads have been blocked due to floods.
Relief services are underway by the Sri Lanka Air Force in the district.
14 Districts have been affected by heavy rain.
