Aircrafts For Greener Future
Four industry and Academic teams are working
on to develop concepts and models on aircrafts
which could reduce fuel consumption, emissions and noise pollution.
$ 16.5 million have been allocated for additional research by Boeing Research & Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cessna Aircraft Company and Northrop Grumman Systems Inc to create an air-craft that could enter service between 2030-2035 years.
