Fire In Sigiriya
According to reports 30 acres of of forest land completely destroyed
in Diagmpathana in Sigiriya due to a fire recently.
Police media spokesman Prishantha Jayakody said investigations are underway on how the fire went off, which destroyed many valuable plants. Meanwhile Forest Conservation Department says that fire has spread rapidly because of dry weather conditions in the area.
