Sri Lanka One Of The Best Countries For Agro Forestry
Sri Lanka was revealed as one of the best countries for Agro – Forestry mechanisms in the World today.
These comments was made by the World Agro Forestry Center today at the 11th parties of the United Nations Convention for Bio Diversity, in Hydrebad, India.
Deputy Director General of World Agro Forestry Center Dr.Ravi Prabhu stated that Sri- Lanka have introduced best mechanisms in the Northern Peninsula after the 30 year conflict in the country where Agro forestry programs has succeeded with the re-settlements of displaced people in the area.
He further said that India, Kenya and Cameroon are also good examples for Agro- Forestry programs.
