Death Toll Rises In India
According to reports 73 people killed due to floods and landslides in North India. Heavy Rain is expected to continue in the country.
More than 71,000 religious pilgrims were stranded along roads in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand with a further 1,700 people trapped in neighboring Himachal Pradesh. According to reports many buildings swept away due to floods which includes 43 hotels in the region.
