Working Group I of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has now finalised its full report Climate Change 2013: The Physical Science Basis, which will be published online on Thursday 30 January 2014.

The Summary for Policymakers of this report was approved in Stockholm on 27 September 2013 and released that day. The Technical Summary, Chapters of the report and selected Annexes were released on 30 September 2013 in the accepted version of the 7 June final draft. Since then the full report, which consists of – besides the Summary for Policymakers – a Technical Summary, 14 Chapters and six Annexes including an Atlas of Global and Regional Climate Projections, has been copy-edited and laid out in preparation for publication. It has also been adjusted, as agreed, for consistency with the approved Summary for Policymakers, in accordance with IPCC procedures, and errors have been corrected.

Besides the report itself, the package to be published online on 30 January includes the first- and second-order drafts of the report, review comments by expert and government reviewers on the drafts, and the responses by the Working Group I author teams to those comments, as well as extensive additional material.
