Ecuador Death Toll Climbs To 238
According to reports 1500 people injured while killing 238 people due to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck in Ecuador recently.However state of emergency is still in effect in six provinces in Guayas, Manabi, Santo Domingo, Los Rios, Esmeraldas and Galapagos. Relief services been carried out while Two portable hospitals have been mobilized to the cities of Pedernales and Portoviejo. Meanwhile The Pacific Tsunami warning center lifted the tsunami threat a short while ago as warnings was issued for other nations with coastlines of the pacific coasts. Authorities urged those who left their homes in coastal areas to return after a tsunami alert was lifted.
