High Level Committee In Islands To Ascertain Water Bodies To Set Up Waterdromes For Sea Planes
A High Level Civil Aviation body constituted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India consisting Capt. Irshad Ahmed, Mr. Bhupesh Pillai, Mr. U K Bandhopadyay, Mr. P K Hazari andDeputy Director, Civil Aviation Mr. Ravi Chandran today made a joint inspection at Aerial Bay Jetty and surroundings at Diglipur for inspection of Water bodies at Diglipur for incorporating as waterdromes under the Central Governments regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN for
introducing Seaplane services.
During the inspection, Sea water testing was also done by the team. The team left for Hut Bay this morning for inspection of water bodies there.
