Spill Gates Opens In Many Reservoirs Due To Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain fall reported in many countries during the pasts days mainly in Uva, Central and Sabaragamuwa province.
Five spill gates of the Kotmale reservoir had been opened yesterday due to heavy rainfall in the catchment on the western slopes of the Central Province. Further 2 spill gates open in Upper kothmale reservoir. DMC have requested the public living near reservoirs to be cautious and vigilant.
