SL Records Highest Temperature After 140 Years
According to recent survey carried out by department of physics, university of Colombo. SL records the highest temperature in over 140 years.Professor Chandana Jayaratne made this comments recently and states that this unusual weather pattern known as El Nino weather phenomenon was a direct result of global warming.Several heat advisories were issued many times by met department this year to North Central, North Western, Southern and Western province.
