Oil Slick From Moutlavinia To Wellawatta
Marine Environment Protection warned today the public not to enter the beach due to oil slick in Indian ocean.
According to MEPA black oil residue has washed to shore from Mountlavinia to Wellawatta. It is believed that oil residue might have deposited in the sea due discharge of oil from ships.
