Heavy Rain Continues
According to Met Department heavy rain is expected to continue for next few days in 5 provinces around the island. Heavy rainfall above 50mm could occur in Badulla, Anuradapura, Vavuniya and Mannar districts.
Heavy strong winds was reported from Western, Northern, North Western provinces so far. Gusty winds could occur in the districts of Trincomalee and Matale district within the next 48 hours. Heavy rain could be expected in Western, Southern, Central, Sabaragamuwa and North Western Provinces.
