According to reports, Mumbai records the worst flood ever in a decade. 32 people reported to be killed from floods caused by heavy rain.

The rains led to the collapse of three walls, which caused most of the deaths. A municipal wall in a Mumbai slum killed 21 when it fell. Six died after another wall collapsed in Pune, and three died after one fell in Thane, a suburb of Mumbai. 50 flights was canceled in Mumbai while all schools was closed down due to the emergency situation. Local bus and train services also been halted due to floods.
