Record Of Baby Elephant Twins In Sri Lanka
According to reports twin elephants was recorded in Minneriya national park. This was the first instance that Sri Lanka recorded a twin birth elephants and according to researches its an rare and special occasion.
This observation was made by one of Sri Lanka’s acclaimed researchers on Elephants and a former Director General of the Department of Wildlife Conservation Dr. Sumith Pilapitiya, along with officers of the Minneriya National Park.
