SL To Ban Single Use Plastic And Polythene
Government of Sri Lanka proposed to ban single use plastic and polythene effecting from January 01st 2020.This decision was taken by the ministers of the cabinet today. Steps have also been taken by the Central Environmental Authority, to promote an alternative to the banned polythene while those regulations are in force.
