7.0 Earthquake: 14 People Killed In Turkey And Greece
According to reports 14 people have died from 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck off Turkey and Greece today. 12 people died in Turkey while 2 reported to be killed in the island of Samos in Greece.419 people are injured due to the earthquake in Turkey while 19 people got injured in Samos island today. US Geological survey stated that the epicentre of the earthquake was 33.5km (20.8miles) off Turkey’s coast and depth was 10km. High tidal waves was observed in both countries in the aftermath of the earthquake leading to flooding in several areas of Izmir coast.
