Climate Change: UK Getting Hotter?

The topic of global warning has become a continuous discussion throughout this year. Several countries have experienced heat waves, the latest country to report a heatwave is the UK. Last Friday, temperatures rose to 32.7 °C in the southern part of England recording the hottest day of the year. The hottest day for the UK was recorded in 2019, in Cambridge with a temperature of 38.7 °C.

All ten hottest years in the history has happened since the 19th century. Global warning has contributed to the spread of heatwaves across the global. Heat waves are defined as hot weather exceeding maximum temperature for that time of year. Lasting a minimum of three days.
