Fire In Muthurajawela Forest Reserve

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) says the fire that broke out in a forest area in Kerawalapitiya, Muturajawela has been contained.
Assistant Director at the Gampaha District DMC, Ajith Nishantha says the fire was reported near the Muthurajawela Forest Reserve in Kerawalapitiya.
Bell 412 helicopter was deployed by SL Airforce to contain the fire in the Kerawalapitiya area.
