Prolonged Rain Causes Heavy Floods In Sri Lanka

Continuous raining have lashed many parts of Sri Lanka, causing flooding and landslides during the month of December. Sluice gates of all reservoirs was opened causing flooding in some areas causing difficulties in the transport services for some areas. Public been advised to be cautious in visiting some of the waterfalls during the festive season due to heavy rainfall.
