New Book On CBD Implementations
A new book on ‘Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity:
A retrospective analysis in the Hindu Kush-Himalayan countries was launched by the
International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) recently.
The book looks at the progress made in the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in the eight countries of the Hindu Kush-Himalayan region using the national reports to the CBD as the primary source.The publication also revolves the conservation efforts in the Hindu-Kush Himalayan countries which are in the different stages of CBD Implementations.
