SL Celebrate Earth Hour 2013
4 Major events was held in Sri Lanka to observe Earth Hour 2013 Yesterday. The official ceremony of the Earth Hour was held at the Mahindarama Viharaya in Ethul Kotte. Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy Susil Premajayantha will was the Chief Guest at the invitation of Western Provincial Minister of Environment, Udaya Gammanpila.
Technology, Research and Atomic Energy Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, Western Province Governor Alevi Mowlana, Western Province Chief Minister Prasanna Ranatunga also participated in the occasion.
The Earth Hour events in Sri Lanka are a collaborated effort by the Earth Hour Sri Lanka and the Western Province Ministry of Environment.
