Chief Minister of Western Provincial Council Isura Devapriya expresses that 150 companies belonging to 15 countries to solve the waste problem in Western province.

200 projects have been suggested by USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, China and South Korea. Chief Minister said President Maithripala Sirisena have appointed a committee to look in to the suggested project proposals to select best projects to solve waste issues. Proposed project proposals expect to solve to generate up to 10MW of electricity through 500 metric tons of waste.
