My Climate Action Photography Competition is an initiative of Earth Lanka the competition is coordinated by our correspondent Mr. Mohamed Intiqab Rawoof based in Doha, in Collaboration with German Embassy Doha. This event was organised during the Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2017 in Qatar and COP23 Climate Change Conference in Bonn in November 2017.   

There were number of photo entries and participants were both Amateur and professional photographers using mobile phone camera and professional cameras. This initiative was to raise public awareness on Sustainability, Climate Change and Environment. There were also few school students from Newton International School who were been selected by the organiser based on the photo entries and awarded the certificate of participation.

The certificates were endorsed by Earth Lanka and German Embassy Doha which was handed over by the Guest of Honour nd Host, Honourable  Mr, Peter Ziegler (Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy Doha) to the participants during a awards ceremony hosted by German Embassy Doha on 23rd January 2018 at the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, Doha, Qatar.

Mr.Sudarsha De Silva, The Founder of Earth Lanka said on behalf of Earth Lanka he is thankful to the supporting partners German Embassy Doha, Razon International, Frank Dizon Films and Newton International School for making My Climate Action Photography Competition a successful event held in Doha, Qatar. .
