New Cricket Jersey Made Of Ocean Plastic Unveiled In SL

Sri Lanka Cricket with MAS Holdings unveiled the new cricket jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 recently.

At a event held recently the Sri Lanka Cricket stated that the jersey was made using 30% of waste collected from Ocean around Sri Lankan coasts. It was a venture made by Sri Lanka Navy with MAS holdings and the purpose of making the jersey was to improve coastal and marine conservation in the country. Sri Lanka is also listed as one of the key marine polluters in the world.
