While country is lagging behind decades ago in the sense of various fields with respect to the other countries several telecommunication operators/service providers struggling to introduce new 5G technology to the mobile signal transmission. While prevailing 3G and 4G networks have been criticized for excessive radiation to the environment and other health hazards, its worthy to look upon about the emerging 5G mobile signal transmission and its health hazards.

According to British Computer Society (BCS), 5G technology can be harmful to the environment as well as to the human health. In BCS`s point of view ,Similar health concerns regarding 4G were expressed in 5G and many studies prove the hazardous health and mental issues of 4G. BCS further stating that 5G however constitutes an increase of 1,000 times in intensity and power levels than 4G and 5G technology also used by the military as a crowd control by literally heating up the targets. According to BCS over 200 epidemiological studies undertaken near transmitters show eight different types of cancers related to this, and even people dying.

BCS says that even the 5G installations will impact every single household; childhood development; and produce an increase in cancer rates and mental health issues. According to the BCS, 5G will be a biological and environmental nightmare due to its complex wave structure and ultra-high frequencies. BCs further elaborating that 5G technology can increase the radioactive exposure as well as the strength of the electromagnetic field from 100 times than 4G technology that can be harmful to the humans as well as to the environment.

Recently over 215 scientists from 40various countries have appealed to the United Nations for urgent step tomitigate the EMF (electromagnetic field) exposure emitting from wireless sources. These scientists also submitted a letter to the Federal Communication Commission of United States (FCC), asking the body to consider health risks and environmental issues before rapidly deploying 5^th generation wireless infrastructure. In 2013, a group of Indian researchers also found that electromagnetic exposure can cause to the abnormalities in the nervous system, functionality of it and the neurotransmitters. According to them,blood brain barrier, morphology, electrophysiology cellular metabolism, calcium efflux, and gene and protein expression in many types of cells can be influenced by high electromagnetic fields even at lower intensities.

So, it’s apparently clear that 5G technology can make harmful electromagnetic and high frequency of radiation exposure in the environment what can be disastrous to human as well as to other living beings. Policy makers should understand the reality that country has so many other priorities rather than experience the 5G technology , a controversial carcinogenic factor.
