1234 People Affected By Strong Winds
According to Disaster Management Center 1234 people are affected due to the prevailing weather situation in the country.
271 houses has been damaged partially in the areas of Rathnapura, Nuwaraeliya, Vavuniya, Kegalle, Puttalam, Hambanthota due to strong winds which prevailed yesterday. DMC further states that more wind can be experienced in the country reaching up to 70-80kmph. The strong winds could extend to eastern coasts with high wind speeds in the next 24 hours.
