Sri Lanka Ranked 6th Most Vulnerable Country In Climate Risk Index
Sri Lanka ranked 6th most vulnerable country in the global climate risk index. The recent report was published with the data gathered during 2018.
The report highlights that 38 people was killed by disasters with an absolute loss of 3626 million in purchasing power party while 1.24 percent loss in GDP. The report further states that Galle and Kalutara districts worst affected during the period of 2018.
