Intellectual Forum Of GCC Youth Kicks Off In Oman With Participation Of Qatar

The four-day Intellectual Forum of GCC Youth was kicked off on Monday in Salalah, the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of Qatar and GCC countries.
The forum intends to refine the youth’s talents to further express their opinions and ideas on various issues that concern them, in addition to contributing to raising generations that are aware of their roles in building nations, whether currently or in the future.
Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of Youth at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in Oman Hamoud bin Salem Al Jabri said that such forums represent an opportunity to achieve rapprochement and share the successful experiences pursued by GCC countries, pointing out that these forums constitute an opportunity to invest the potential of youth and further enhance their capabilities.
The forum was inaugurated with a paper presented by the Sultanate of Oman titled: Gulf Youth in Cultural and Innovative Industry”, while the state of Qatar presented action papers titled: The Technological Evolution & its Role in Environmental Sustainability and Qatar National Vision 2030″, Strategic Plan for Conservation of Environment and Supporting Sustainable Development, in addition to FIFA world cup Qatar 2022.
In addition, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented a working paper titled the Gulf youth digital forums, their reality and impacts, while Kuwait presented a working paper titled psychological health of gulf youth, along with another paper titled GCC efforts in the health sector. The United Arab of Emirates also presented a working paper titled: Gulf startups -ambition & challenges.
The forum will feature several seminars and action papers to be presented by a host of professionals from the Sultanate of Oman and GCC countries.
