IIED Celebrates International Year Of Forest
IIED together with World Bank International Union
for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN),
International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED),
the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO)
have initiated growing forest partnership projects
to celebrate International Year of Forests in 2011.
Further IIED issued four new briefing papers about growing Forest partnership projects today. Briefing papers have been named as Investing in locally controlled forestry, Sustainable forestry: connecting local to global and vice versa, empowering communities through forest partnerships and making local voices heard: the Three Rights Holders Group.
