New Measures In ICIMOD
Concerning and working on environment d in Mountain Regions,
ICIMOD Organization will be implementing new measures in the headquarters of ICIMOD to reduce carbon foot print.
According ICIMOD a waste water treatment plant of 54sq.m , solar array of 4.9kw capacity & 10 cubic meters of Bio Gas plant have been implemented recently.
In the recent years ICIMOD have shown lot of interest on efforts to promote conservation of forests by working with community forestry user groups in Nepal ‘capture’ carbon dioxide and get paid for their efforts.
