MEPA To Seek Action On Ship Which Caused Oil Spill
The Marine Environment Protection Authority requested Sri Lanka Coast Guard to locate the ship responsible for oil spill in Western coast of Sri Lanka.
Currently MEPA Commence activities with Disaster Management Center, SL Navy and SL Coast Guard in clean up operations in western coasts. MEPA further request public to stay away from the area until operations are complete.
