No Injuries Reported From Earthquakes
According to Reports no injuries were reported from the earthquakes which triggered
in the Pacific Ocean today.
Tsunami waves with a height of 20cm have hit the northeastern coast line of Japan today. 4 earthquakes struck in the areas of Japan, Papua New Guinea & in New Zealand which showed a magnitude of 6.8, 6.1, 6.4 and 5.4 in the Richter scale.
The first Japanese quake struck about 210km off the northern island of Hokkaido and Japan Meteorological Agency said the second earthquake was magnitude 6.1. Another quake hit Papua New Guinea New Britain region at a depth of 48km, 204km southwest of the main city in of Rabaul. Another earthquake then struck off New Zealand’s Fiordland coast of the South Island.
