National Coastal And Marine Resource Conservation Week
National Coastal and Marine Resources Conservation Week Sri Lanka 2019 concluded today island wide.
The week commence from September 16- September 21 around the coastal belt where many activities took place in cleaning the beaches, canals and lagoons around the island. These activities were conducted all over the week with the participation of Marine Environment Protection Authority, SL Navy, school children, members of governmental institutes, general public and private sector. Plastic/ Polythene and other degradable waste was disposed from these cleaning efforts.
