Heavy Rain Continues
The met department today warned heavy rainfalls more than 200mm in in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and Southern Provinces.
It is expected more than 75mm rainfall in North-western, Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces. Meanwhile NBRO issued warnings of landslides in the districts of Kalutara, Galle and Kegalle. One person killed so far due to a landslide occurred in Wanduraba today. Schools in Galle and Matara district will remain closed due to bad weather and people in low land areas been warned to take precautions due to water level rising of nilwala,gin and kalu ganga river.
