Heavy Rain Continues
According to met department the prevailing weather will continue in the next 24 hours, heavy showers can be expected particularly in North, North western, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.
It said that showers or thundershowers would occur at times in Northern, North-western, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces and in the Anuradhapura District. According to reports one person killed due to torrential rains in Nuwaraeliya while 3 others went missing due to an earth slip. Rescue operations are still underway in the area.
