Red Alert Issued For Heavy Rain And Strong Winds
Met department issues red alert to coastal areas from Pottuvuil to Mannar and stated to all fishermen to be cautious due to strong winds and high waves in the areas. Heavy rain is expected more than 150mm in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central province.
Meanwhile NBRO issues landslide warnings to Galle and Matale district for the next 48 hours and people living near river basins warned to be cautious as the water level keeep rising at the moment.
