
1.8 Million Displaced In Afghanistan - IOM

Nearly two million individuals in Afghanistan have been internally displaced due to conflict and natural disasters between January 2021 and April 2022, the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) has said.
On its Twitter handle the IOM wrote: “The number of Afghans displacing internally has been steadily increasing since 2019. An unprecedented 1.8 million individuals have been internally displaced due to conflict and natural disaster between January 2021 and April 2022.”
