Cyclone Lusi Heading To NewZealand
Warnings have been issued in the coastal regions of Christchurch New-Zealand due to the Cyclone Lusi a short while ago.
The storm swept Vanuatu killing three people and seriously injuring another. By Thursday morning the cyclone had moved to the south of Fiji and forecasters said it is no longer posed a threat to Pacific nations but its winds were intensifying
Meanwhile heavy rain was reported in Auckland, Northland and Cantebury areas.
In Christchurch, Mayor Lianne Dalziel says emergency responses are being put in place in a bid to prevent a repeat of last week’s flooding.
