7.4 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Off New Zealand
According to USGS 7.4 Magnitude of Earthquake struck 873km north of Ngunguru city of New Zeland. USGS further stated that the earthquake struck 10km dept off Ngunguru. No casualties reported so far.New Zeland Ministry of civil defense issued warnings of a tsunami today but no records of tsunami threat’s reported from the region. Pacific Tsunami Warning center stated that the tremor could have caused a minor change in the sea level in coastal areas.
