Rescued Black Leopard Dies
Black leopard which was rescued from a trap few days ago died today. The species was recorded after 50 years and believed to be extinct in Sri Lanka. The species died while being treated in the transit home in Udawalawe.
According to officials the leopard passed away from its wounds and the leopard was treated in the transit home to be released again to the woods.
