Move To Ban Cattle Slaughter
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today stated that cattle slaughter will be banned in the country in future, Prime Minister proposed the ban to the parliament towards banning cattle slaughter in Sri Lanka.
According to reports Government will look into presenting the formal proposal to the cabinet for approval in near future. However cattle meat will be imported to Sri Lanka after the approval of the cabinet.
